Sending/Editing/Deleting Ad Hoc Alerts as Admin - Performance Pro
Sending Alerts as an Administrative User
Administrative Users can send alerts and calendar invites through use of the Ad Hoc Alert icons throughout the program. However, they also have access to an Ad Hoc Alerts tab from which alerts can be sent, accessed by clicking System Setup > Manage Alerts > Ad Hoc Alerts. The steps to customize and send the alert are the same as when using an Ad Hoc Alert icon.

This tab will display, for the Administrative User only, a log of any ad hoc emails set up with a recurrence. Ad hoc calendar invites and one-time emails will not display here, but will display on the Alerts Log tab. Standard alerts sent via the Manage Alerts > Appraisals, Goals, E-Signature, or Completion Past Due tabs will not display here.
Editing or Deleting Alerts
The Administrative User has the option to edit or delete any pending alert listed on the Ad Hoc Alerts tab, regardless of who the sender is, by using the icons in the Action column.

When you click the Edit icon, a message will appear that states:

This means that calendar invitations can only be edited in your mail/calendar application, but e-mail alerts can be edited within Performance Pro. Click OK to proceed or Cancel to return to the Ad Hoc Alerts screen.
If you click the Edit icon on an e-mail, the alert will open. All field values will reflect what was setup by the sender at the time the alert was created. The Administrative User can edit everything except the sender.
Deleting an alert will stop all future scheduled messages associated with that alert. It will also remove that alert from this list. One common use for deleting an alert, especially scheduled recurrences, would be if the sender has left your employment.
