Performance Pro -Ad Hoc E-mail Alerts and Calendar Invites - New Interface

Send a one time or recurring email or calendar notification to anyone in your organization.

 

Managers can find the Ad Hoc Alert icon in the following locations:

  • Goals > Current Goals - near Due Date on goal card
  • Employee Data > Appraisal Settings area

Admins can also send the alerts from System Configuration as outlined below.

NOTE
The employee profile must include an e-mail address in the Employee Data screen in order to receive these alerts. Calendar invites will route through the user's calendar application such as Outlook.

Sending an E-mail Alert

Click System Configuration then Alerts & Notifications.

Scroll to the One-Time Notifications section. Click Create.

Click the E-mail checkbox.

Select the recipient in the "To" field.

Enter a subject and the contents of the message.

Click Select Recurrence.

Customize the recurrence options according to how often you would like this message sent. If you choose Once, no further options need to be selected.

Click Save Notification to send the message. One-time e-mail messages will be sent immediately.

The Alerts Log will reflect the sent ad-hoc alert (email).


Click View Upcoming Alerts to display a listing of all recurring e-mail notifications the user has initiated.

NOTE

If a recurrence has been set on any alert, it can be edited or deleted by clicking the icons in the Action column of the log. Calendar recurrences must be removed separately from the calendar application such as Outlook. 

Sending a Calendar Invite

From the One-Time Notifications section. Click Create.

Click the Calendar Invite checkbox.

Add the recipients from the "To" field.

Add a subject and content of the message.

Click Select Recurrence.

Complete all the calendar invite settings.

Click Save Notification.

The Calendar Invite will go through the user's calendar application.

NOTE

All meeting times will be scheduled in GMT, which is four hours ahead of EDT. Please schedule your meeting accordingly. Below is a conversion chart to aid in setting the time.
