How to Disable E-mail Notifications - Performance Pro

Note: Performance Pro contains some hard-coded emails that cannot be disabled or turned off. An example of this would be: If you allow your employees to create their own current goals, a notification is sent to their manager when the goal is created.

Appraisal Email Alerts

To Disable Upcoming and/or Overdue Appraisal Alerts

Click System Setup.

Click Manage Alerts.

Click the Appraisals tab. Appraiser Notification options are on the left half of the screen. Employee Notification options will be on the right half of the screen.

Uncheck the desired reminders for Upcoming and/or Overdue alerts.

Click Save.

To Disable Completion Past Due Alerts

Click System Setup.

Click Manage Alerts.

Click the Completion Past Due tab.

Deselect the Appraiser checkbox.

Click Save.

Goal Email Alerts

To Disable E-Mail Alerts for Goals

Click System Setup.

Click Manage Alerts.

Click the Goals tab.

From the Goal Alerts sub-tab uncheck the desired reminders.

Click Save.

Note: An e-mail alert will still be sent to the appraiser when an employee creates their own current goal if that feature is activated in your system.

To Disable Check in Alerts for Goals

Click System Setup.

Click Manage Alerts.

Click the Goals tab.

Click the Check In Alerts sub-tab.

Uncheck the desired reminders.

Click Save.

E-Signature Email Alerts

If the E-Signature feature is activated in your system, you can choose to disable the e-mail alert that notifies users when their E-Signature is overdue.

To Disable E-Signature Overdue Alerts

Click System Setup.

Click Manage Alerts.

Click the E-Signature tab.

Uncheck the desired reminders and/or recipients.

Click Save.

Ready Notification Email Alerts

If the Self-Evaluation feature is enabled, you can choose to disable the notification that is sent to the appraiser when an employee marks their self-evaluation as "Ready."

To Disable Ready Notifications

Click System Setup.

Click Company Settings.

Under the "Self Evaluation" section, uncheck the Ready Notification box.

Click Save.

Note Sharing Email Alerts

If you allow employees and appraisers to "share" notes they create, there is an option to send an e-mail alert notification when a note is shared by either type of user.

To Disable Note Sharing Notifications

Click System Setup.

Click Company Settings.

Under the "Advanced Features" area, uncheck the Shared Note Email Notification box.

Click Save.

Routed Item and Routing Complete Email Alerts

If you have activated Routing in your system, you can disable the e-mail notification that is sent to a user when an item is routed to them. You can also disable the notification that is sent to the originator of the routed document when the routing process is complete.

To Disable Routing Notifications

Click System Setup.

Click Routing Setup.

Uncheck the Routing Email Notification and/or Complete Notification checkboxes.

Click Save.
