  • Hide Weights and Scores: Performance Pro’s ratings are based on a numeric scale and weighting calculation. To hide employee’s numeric Core Value, Competency and Goal scores and simply display performance terminology such as “High Performer” or to suppress the weights assigned to each Core Value, Competency or Goal, simply click the checkboxes of the information you wish to hide.

  • Hide Last Column: If an employee was rated on a Core Value or Competency during their last appraisal and that Core Value or Competency appears on their current appraisal, their last score will appear in the Last column on the evaluation screen. Click Hide Last Column to hide.

  • View Performance History: By default, employees do not have access to their historical appraisals. However, you can give them this capability by activating View Performance History and clicking the View Appraisals checkbox. In addition, you may also grant the employee access to the Notes, completed Forms, and/or Additional Documents listed on their Performance History page. Simply click the desired checkboxes.

Caution: Allowing your employee’s access to past content in Performance History can be a very sensitive issue. HR Performance Solutions highly recommends reviewing your policies before activating this feature, as potential legal ramifications may be involved.

  • Hide Peer Feedback: The Hide Peer Feedback option will hide the Peer Feedback tab in Performance History. (This is where feedback is viewed and where appraisers can give feedback). To completely hide the feature, the Peer Feedback widget should NOT be added to the Home screen. If Hide Peer Feedback is checked, but the widget is on the Home screen, users can still give Peer Feedback. An email will be sent to the recipient containing the feedback, but recipients would not be able to view feedback on the tab in Performance History.

  • Hide Core Value, Competency and Goal Sections: If an organization is not using Core Values, Competencies and/or Goals, the Administrative User can hide the sections that won't be utilized. If all are hidden, the appraisal will be based upon Summary Comments only. Select the Hide on Appraisal Forms checkbox to also hide the item on appraisal forms.

  • Hide Salary: Salary information can be very sensitive. You can hide the Salary tab found under Manage Employees, Employee Data by selecting the Hide Salary checkbox. (If you are using the Merit Matrix feature, you should not hide the Salary tab.)

  • Hide Configure Home for Non-Admins: When hidden, non-Administrative Users will not be able to adjust the widgets on the Home screen.

  • Hide Manager Resources: There are a variety of articles that can be viewed from the Support icon in the toolbar. They include topics such as the appraisal process, corrective action, documenting employee performance, goal setting, interviewing, and terminations. You can disable the Manager Resources link if you desire for Administrative Users, Appraisers, or both.

  • Hide Merit Matrix: Performance Pro accommodates a pay-for-performance (merit pay) philosophy. A merit matrix can be setup and used to help Administrative Users determine consistent pay changes across the organization based upon the employee's salary and their position in the salary range. Deselecting the checkbox will unhide the Merit Increase feature.

  • View Key Metrics Home: The Key Metrics section of the Home screen displays charts useful to Administrative Users. Charts include "Average Goals Per Employee by Manager" and "Appraisal Score by Employee." Clicking in the View Key Metrics Home checkbox will unhide the Key Metrics charts for Administrative Users.
