Propose Goal Changes as Employee
How an employee can propose changes to their goals
Employees cannot freely edit a goal on their goal screen unless they are adding it brand new from scratch. However, they can propose changes to established goals by clicking “Propose Changes” after selecting the goal from the Employee Goal Tools > Current Goals tab. Proposed changes can be made to the description or weight areas only. Enter the changes in the “Proposed Changes” area and then click “Submit” to send to the manager.
Once changes are submitted, the manager will be notified via email. The manager will be able to see a “Review” button beside any goal on the Employee Goal Tools screen that has proposed changes.
The Manager should click “Review” to see the proposed changes. They can then click “Decline” to decline the changes or “Approve” to accept the changes. If approved, the goal content will change accordingly.
