Downline View and Edit Features - Performance Pro
The Downline feature allows appraisers to view and/or edit the data and history of employees three levels beneath their direct reports. If the feature is not selected, an appraiser may only view his/her direct reports.
Appraisers with "Downline View" access may view, but not edit data for employees in their Downline. Appraisers with "Downline View/Edit" access may view and edit data for their Downline. Downline View and Downline View/Edit designations are made on the Employee Data or Appraiser Setup screens.
To Activate Downline Features
Click System Setup.
Click Company Settings.
From "Advanced Features," check the Downline Features box.
Click Save.
To Assign Downline Privileges
Select an Appraiser.
Click Manage Employees.
Click Employee Data.
Under "Privileges," select Downline View.
Once you select "Downline View," a "Downline Edit" box will appear. Check this box if you would like to assign Downline Edit privileges.
Click Save.
Downline Privileges can also be assigned in Appraiser Setup, using the following steps:
Click System Setup.
Click Appraiser Setup.
Click the Assign Downline View tab.
Select an appraiser and move them to the "Appraisers with Downline View" table, using the single green arrow.
Click Save.
There is also an "Assign Downline Edit" tab where you can select the employees you want to provide with Downline Edit privileges.
