Creating A Classroom (ILT) Course - TLC New UI

Creating a Classroom (ILT) Course spanning multiple days (block) or a full course available on multiple dates. Help for Administrators.

To create an ILT Course:

Select Learning Library and click on Add New, then click Add Individual Course.

Under the Course Info tab, fill in all fields with an asterisk *.  Additional fields are optional. Next, select the Active checkbox, to allow the course to show as active in the Library.  If you would like employees to be able to register for the classroom course, check the Employees can Self Register checkbox.

Check the Schedule ILT Sessions checkbox and then click Add Sessions.

The Add ILT Session screen will open.  On this screen you will add how many sessions you want for your classroom course. 

To create a single course available on multiple dates fill in the selected fields:

  • Date- Select the date the of the course.
  • Time zone- Select which time zone the course will be conducted in.
  • Start Time- Select the start time of the course.
  • End Time- Select the end time of the course.
  • Instructor- Select who will be instructing the course.
  • Location- Select the location of the course.
  • Classroom Seats- Select the maximum amount of seats available for the course.

After all selections have been made, click Save.  The course will be shown under COURSE BLOCKS. To add additional days this course will be held on, click on Date: again and choose the next date. You may also edit any of the other open fields and then click Save. You may repeat this as many times as needed for this course. 

When you are done choosing your dates, click Cancel. You will be taken back to the Edit Course screen.  Click Save to save your classroom course. Click Cancel when you are finished.

To create a course that spans multiple days/dates:

  • After clicking Add Sessions and entering your data, click Add new session under Course Blocks.  
  • You will notice Classroom Seats can not be edited.  The number of seats will be the same as the first session. 

When an employee registers for this course, they will be required to register for each session.  The Register button will force them to select Next Session until they reach the final Registration page where they will complete the registration by clicking on Register.
