Uncompleting an Appraisal - Performance Pro

Uncompleting an appraisal is the ability to re-open the last completed appraisal. This can only be done by an Administrative User. This feature should be used with extreme caution. It is recommended that you work with Product Support the first few times you uncomplete an appraisal to ensure you do not lose content.

Note: Uncompleting appraisals without verifying that there has been no appraiser or position change since the date of completion will result in loss of data. If there is a current appraisal pending for the user, uncompleting an appraisal will overwrite and erase any data in the current appraisal.

Verify No Data Will Be Lost

Has the appraisal in question been marked complete?

Click Employee Documents.

Click Performance History.

Verify the appraisal states "HISTORY" If it does not, you do not need to use the uncomplete function to edit a current appraisal.

Verify the employee's current position and appraiser match what is on the completed appraisal. If they are different, temporarily change the appraiser and position in Employee Data prior to uncompleting the appraisal to ensure no data is lost.

Verify that there are no scores or comments in the CURRENT appraisal.

Note: Uncompleting will remove any scores, comments, future goals, and goal notes already entered into the current appraisal.

Click Employee Documents.

Click Performance History.

Select the current appraisal.

Check for any scores/ comments. If there are scores/ comments, Click PDF. Information can be copied and pasted back into Performance Pro later from this document.

Verify that no changes have been made to the position.

Compare the Competencies on the current and historical appraisals. If there are differences, make note of them so they can be redone after the uncomplete process.

To Uncomplete the Appraisal

Click Administration.

Click Manage Users.

Click the Uncomplete Appraisal tab.

Click the box to acknowledge that you are intentionally uncompleting this appraisal.
