Performance Pro - Editing, Copying, or Deleting Concurrent Appraisal Processes - New Interface

Once an appraisal process is created, it can be edited, copied, or deleted.

Once an appraisal process is created, it can be edited, copied, or deleted by using the icons in the Actions column. Following are a few guidelines for these functions.

concurrent actions

Edit Icon
concurrent edit

  • Edits made to any of the settings on the appraisal process will apply to all employees to whom the selected process is currently assigned.

TIP

When editing an appraisal process that has already been assigned to employees, the employee's Position field cannot be changed. If a change to the Position field is necessary, the concurrent appraisal assignment will need to be removed from the employee and then reassigned. (See Assigning & Deleting Concurrent Appraisals to/from Employees)

Copy Icon

  • Clicking the Copy icon will copy all of the settings of the appraisal process but not the employees to whom it is assigned. The copied process will have “(copy)” at the end of the appraisal process name. To rename, click the Edit icon and edit the name in the Appraisal Process Name field and click Save.

    concurrent copy

Delete Icon

  • If there are employees assigned to the appraisal process, the Delete icon will not be visible. You will not be able to delete it until all employees are either unassigned from it or the appraisals are completed.
    concurrent delete
  • When an appraisal process is deleted, any completed instances of the deleted appraisal process will remain in the Historical Appraisals & Forms table of the employees for whom it was assigned and completed.
