Performance Pro - Assigning Competencies to Positions - New Interface

Appraisals populate with the competencies assigned to the employee's position. This article covers how to assign competencies to positions.

 

Assigning Competencies

Click System Configuration, then Content Management.

From the Position Configuration area, click Manage Positions.

Click Show All to see your entire position list and select the position, or choose a category and position from the dropdowns.

TIP

  • The Company radio button will display your company's position list. 
  • The Master radio button displays the master list of positions that can be copied over to the company position list.

Click Add Competency + to see your list of available competencies.

Click on a competency from the list, then click Select to assign it to the position. Repeat as needed.

TIP

  • The List Competencies Alphabetically option will display the competency list in alphabetical order.
  • The Group Competencies by Category option will display the competencies according to the category they are stored in.
  • The Search All Competencies field can be used to search by competency name.

Use the slider bar on the right to slide down to the EDIT Competencies section. Distribute weights between the competencies so they total 100%. If desired, you can divide the weights evenly by sliding the Divide Weights Evenly setting to the right.

Click Save.
