Making Edits to a Merged and/or Routed Appraisal - Performance Pro
The steps in this article are for Administrative users only.
When an appraisal has been merged, it becomes "read only" and the employee and multi-appraiser(s) are locked out and cannot make edits. While an appraisal is routed, the primary appraiser cannot make edits.
If the employee and/or multi-appraiser(s) need to make changes, three actions need to be performed: (1) stop the route, (2) un-merge the appraisal, and (3) clear the Ready status for any user that needs to make edits.
Stop the Route
Set your role to Administrator.
Select the employee.
From the Appraisals > Finish Appraisal > Route tab, click Stop Route.
Note: It is recommended that you notify the person it had been sent to that the routing was stopped. Otherwise, they may become concerned that the item is no longer in their inbox.
Un-Merge the Appraisal
From the Appraisals > Finish Appraisal > Merge tab, click Un-Merge.
Clear the Ready Status for the Desired User
From the Appraisals > Finish Appraisal > Ready tab, click Un-RFM. The upper Un-RFM button will clear the "Ready" status for the appraiser. The lower Un-RFM button will clear the "Ready" status for the employee.
Once the desired edits have been made, the user(s) will need to Mark Ready, the appraisal will need to be merged again, and then re-routed as needed.
