Company Settings > Appraisal Settings > Self-Appraisals Descriptions

Listed below are descriptions for Self-Evaluations settings under the Appraisal Settings tab. When changes are made to settings, please always remember to click save at the bottom of the Performance Pro page.

 

Self Appraisal

Determines if Self-Evaluations are Disabled, Required, or Optional. 

 - Disable

The Employee will not have the option to do a Self-Evaluation. 

 - Required

Requires the Employee’s Self-Evaluation to be completed prior to the appraisal being merged. 

 - Optional

Allows the employee the option to complete a Self-Evaluation. Also allows the appraiser to merge, route, and complete the appraisal without the employee’s portion of the evaluation. 

Please note: changes to this setting during the appraisal process will clear the Ready dates. The Ready for Meeting, Merge, and Routing will be cleared, however previously entered ratings and comments will remain intact. 

Allow Appraiser View

Allows appraisers the ability to view the self-evaluation results before the Merge step. 

Ready Notification

 

Provides appraisers email notification of when an employee has completed the self-evaluation. 

Allow Employee Access

Gives appraisers the ability to allow employees access to their merged appraisal. This will allow the employee to see the current appraisal.   When enabled, the appraisal will be visible to the employee from the Home Screen by clicking the My Current appraisal button.
